When the barrier is stressed, everything feels like it’s “not working.” In reality, your skin can’t tolerate even good ingredients.

For 10–14 days, keep it boring: gentle cleanse, hydrate, moisturize, SPF. Skip acids, scrubs, retinoids, and new actives.

Then reintroduce one active at a time—twice a week—so you can actually see what helps (and what triggers you).
